What are the contraindications for Glimepiride therapy? In which conditions should it be avoided to prevent adverse effects?
Glimepiride should be avoided in patients with diabetic ketoacidosis, type 1 diabetes, severe kidney or liver disease, and those allergic to sulfonylureas.
