Estrogen helps maintain skin moisture and elasticity. As estrogen levels drop with age, skin becomes drier and less elastic, leading to wrinkles and other aging signs.
Estrogen promotes skin hydration and elasticity. Declining levels in later life lead to increased dryness, reduced elasticity, and more visible wrinkles.
Estrogen promotes collagen and elastin production, maintaining skin’s elasticity and hydration. As estrogen levels drop with age, this results in decreased collagen, leading to wrinkles and dryness.
