What are the pharmacokinetics of magnesium sulfate, including its absorption, distribution, metabolism and excretion in the human body?
Magnesium sulfate is poorly absorbed orally, but well absorbed intravenously. It distributes mainly in extracellular fluid and is excreted primarily by the kidneys.
