Gonal-f is contraindicated for patients with hypersensitivity to gonadotropins, primary ovarian failure, uncontrolled thyroid or adrenal dysfunction, tumors of pituitary or hypothalamic origin, and pregnancy. To assess safety, patients should consult with a fertility specialist to review their medical history and possibly undergo specific tests.
Gonal-f should not be used by patients with tumors of the pituitary or hypothalamic glands, uncontrolled thyroid or adrenal dysfunction, or ovarian cysts. Always consult a healthcare provider.
