How should metoclopramide be taken and what are the recommended dosing schedules and administration guidelines for optimal effectiveness?
Metoclopramide should be taken 30 minutes before meals and at bedtime. The usual adult dose is 10 mg, four times daily for 4 to 12 weeks, depending on the condition being treated.
