Amlodipine can cause dizziness or lightheadedness but rarely causes fainting. Patients should rise slowly from sitting/lying positions to prevent these symptoms.
Fainting is uncommon with amlodipine. Patients experiencing dizziness should stay hydrated, avoid sudden movements, and sit or lie down if feeling lightheaded.
While fainting from amlodipine is rare, dizziness is a possible side effect. To handle this, move slowly when standing up and ensure adequate fluid intake.
