Doxycycline may be used in chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS) patients if coexisting infections like Lyme disease are suspected. However, its benefits in directly managing CFS symptoms are not clearly established.
Use of doxycycline in CFS is generally for treating underlying infections. While it might alleviate infectious symptoms, there’s limited evidence of its effectiveness for CFS itself.
