LifeLinkr Introduces Goods Return Notes to Simplify Returns and Improve Billing Accuracy
Introducing the GRN Feature
April 11, 2025 | Product Update
LifeLinkr has launched a new feature—Goods Return Notes (GRNs)—to help clinics and pharmacies efficiently manage the return of unused or expired goods. This update aims to enhance inventory accuracy, reduce waste and ensure that billing reflects only what is actually used.
Goods Return Notes provide an official and simple way to document the return of medicines or consumables that are no longer required, whether due to patient discharge, change in treatment, or expiry. With this note in place, returned goods are logged, invoices are updated and inventory records are corrected automatically.
“We developed the GRN system to solve a real-world issue faced by our partner clinics—stock returns were often undocumented and bills went uncorrected,” said the LifeLinkr Product Team. “Now, teams can manage returns with one click.”
Key benefits of the GRN feature include:
- Easy return process for expired or extra stock
- Real-time updates in inventory and billing modules
- Improved billing transparency and stock traceability
- Compliance-ready records for internal or external audits
Seamless Integration and Real-Time Tracking
The GRN module integrates directly with pharmacy and inventory dashboards, allowing real-time tracking of return transactions. This helps staff make faster decisions and ensures full accountability in the system.
All users can now access the Goods Return Notes feature across LifeLinkr platforms. Teams will also receive guidance and training materials to get started quickly.
Supporting Smarter, Smoother Workflows
This update marks another step in LifeLinkr’s commitment to building intelligent, integrated tools that support smooth clinical workflows and operational accuracy.
